How does BidForBooking work?

BidForBooking is not another OTA. We are the alternative platform that helps you fill gaps between bookings. Here tourists make you offers for dates that are difficult to fill. If you're fast, you take it.

Registration is quick and easy. You just need to fill in some basic information about your property and your business:
- Name, surname, and email address of the responsible person
- Secure password
- Company name, tax identification number, and chain name (if applicable)
- Full address of the property: country, city, postal code, and street address
- Category of property (hotel, hostel, tourist apartment, etc.)
In addition, you must attach the legal documentation that authorizes you to operate the business in your country (such as your business registration, tourist license, or equivalent operating permit). Once all the information has been submitted, the BidForBooking team will review and validate the documentation as soon as possible. The process is usually completed in a short time, as long as the information is correct and the documentation is in order.
Once a reservation is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, as stated in the contract’s acceptance clauses. However, the exceptions listed above allow guests to cancel without fees when the reasons are beyond their control and duly justified. These protections are in place to safeguard the guest.
Once an offer is accepted, an invoice for the accommodation is automatically generated for the guest, including the relevant booking details. BidForBooking's commission, on the other hand, is invoiced to the accommodation provider once the guest has checked out, or in the event of a no-show, according to the agreed conditions. You will then receive an invoice for our commission for the services provided.
If a guest fails to show up, it is considered a No-Show case, which allows you to charge the full amount of the stay.
However, keep in mind that the guest is protected under certain no-cost cancellation conditions, so you must first verify whether any of these apply before proceeding with the charge.
If a member of the group is unable to travel, only their room is canceled. A joint cancellation is only accepted if:
- There are minor children or dependent adults (due to studies or disability).
- Supporting documentation is provided.
No, reservations accepted by the accommodation CANNOT be canceled, except in cases expressly provided for. You must first verify whether any of these conditions apply before proceeding with the charge.
No. BidForBooking considers all properties equally important, so ranking higher than others is not possible.
No. BidForBooking does not allow guests to write reviews. We know your guests are important to you, and you will do your best to make them happy!
The price that will appear on your dashboard and be sent to you by email is the net acceptance price. This will enable you to decide whether to accept or reject the booking.
Yes, you can do this via your management panel. This will not affect any bookings that have already been confirmed: these will remain active and linked to the accommodation in question, as the guest is still planning to stay there.
Removing your accommodation simply prevents you from receiving new offers; it does not cancel existing commitments.
In exceptional cases (e.g. total closure or force majeure), we recommend contacting the BidForBooking team directly to manage the situation manually.
Yes. You can set a minimum acceptance price to avoid receiving offers below what you consider reasonable. This can easily be configured in your property listing when creating or editing it. You can also set different minimum prices for specific dates (e.g. weekends, high season).
